Hey! I'm so glad you like it! It took a very very long time to prepare the art...or even to decide on the style, but I think it's paying off.

For the music -- We're using Kontakt, which is from Native Instruments -- I thin they are the same people who do the Garratan Personal Orchestra. Anyway -- when the band was drummerless, we invested in computer MIDI stuff - and Kontakt orchestra is part of a suite with a great drum sampler and some very interesting synthesizers and virtual guitar amps....

Because this thesis project is so consuming, we put the band on hold, and are working on this instead. I suggested a tone and a basic instrumental palette, then went through the script with Vince, and we discussed what themes should go where. So -- Post Metal gives way to Oompah Film Score!

I think that we might kill some of the reverb, but otherwise, we're on a good track! I was very happy when I heard the cymbals and kick drum in the titles!

Finally - the drum sampler got pulled in to make a percussion track out of hammer and saw sounds during Gustave's tutelage to Otto Lilienthal.

Anyways -- I'm in love with MIDI and I'm putting together a little studio so I can record live guitar with my various MIDI creations. 2010 will be a musical year.

The visual design is absolutely stunning, and impresses me more with each extra minute we get to see. The crane shot descending into the alley elicited an audible "ooh wow" just now.

I'm curious as to tools you are using for the music. It sounds mighty different from your previous works!

I second that motion! This looks likely to be a compelling treatment of a fascinating subject. And the shadows on the sky are awesome!
